ARTICLES OF ORGANIZATION (General Laws, Chapter 180)
ARTICLE I
The exact name of the corporation is: The purpose of the corporation is to engage in the following activities: The purposes for which this organization is formed are: (1) to work for the creation of a multipurpose recreational trail connecting the city of Marlborough and the towns of Hudson, Stow, Maynard and Acton and generally following the route of an abandoned railroad known as the Marlborough Branch Railroad; (2) to promote the use and enjoyment of the trail and (3) to assist communities through which the trail passes to maintain it in good condition. The purposes for which the corporation is formed are exclusively charitable and educational within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.
Note: If the space provided :under any article or item on this form is insufficient, additions shall be set forth on one side only of separate 81/2 x 11 sheets of paper with a left margin of at least 1 inch. Additions to more than one article may be made on a single sheet so long as each article requiring each addition is clearly indicated
