The Fitchburg Cutoff is in Cambridge, 40 miles from the city of Fitchburg. It is marked in red. It was originaly gravel, but the paving of the trail started in October 2010 and will finish a year later. It connects to the Alewife Linear Park Trail and Somerville Community Path, which are marked in green. It also connects to the Minuteman Trail, which is marked in blue.
